Slightly random Te Mata Peak loop mixing bits of the red trail with bits of the yellow trail. Early morning before continuing the work on the section. Felt very tired for the first few minutes but not too bad once the first couple of climbs were out of the way.

Basically from the section to the top of Te Mata peak and back. At the end of a day of hard-ish labour dealing with the new plantings, so was pretty tired. With Oli most of the way up the hill but he didn't do the last bit up the road to the peak. Going down the tracks afterwards reminded me that I'm really not an MTB'er!

Not much in the legs today. Struggled on the hills. Also faster than I wanted towards the end as it was just Brian and I taking the longer route along the river (only just over 4min/km).

Felt pretty good - pressure on the lungs instead of the legs this time. A bit surprised to be over the hour, but there was quite a bit of wind (northerly).
