Cycling 57:47 [3] 25.31 km (2:17 / km)

The Whitemans Valley loop CW.
Decent conditions and feeling reasonably good. About 3 times as many cars as usual - guess everyone's getting ready for the lockdown tonight. Lots of vehicles with trailers full of stuff for the next month's DIY projects.

Running 1:07:24 [3] 11.0 km (6:08 / km)
shoes: Air Pegasus 30 Darker blue

Avro - the dead end above Stokes Valley - Avian. Meant to be a rest day but the weather meant that the intended exercise for the day - lawn-mowing - wasn't an option.
Probably my slowest time for this route despite feeling pretty good and running fast at times. Too busy pondering life to concentrate on running, plus more undergrowth than there used to be, slippy tracks and sore heels that held me back on the downhills.

Sunday Mar 22, 2020 #

Running 1:35:42 [3] 16.0 km (5:59 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

Extended Kilmister loop ACW from Hill Rd. Took the track that goes nearly to the top of Boulder Hill and then extended it at the end by going to the Airstrip along the ridge and then down Bulls Run.
Feeling a bit below par again, so took it easy to start with, but was forced to walk bits due to lots of young nervy cows on the first climb and following descent. Feeling better and moving quite quickly for the last half hour. Heels sore again though.

Disappointed not to be running round Woodhill today.

Note

Golf at RW with Alan and Mark Thomson. Usual mixture, fairly sandy - 99 (35 points - handicap has slipped to 26 for RW). Won the split 6's by parring the last.

Running 37:19 [3] 6.0 km (6:13 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus 30

Medium Avian-Avro loop
A jog to stretch the legs a bit after a full day in front of the computer. Legs pretty tired so didn't put in much effort.

Thursday Mar 19, 2020 #

Running 1:02:46 [3] 13.0 km (4:50 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

Harriers. Wallaceville Hill, Maidstone
Not my favourite route but quite enjoyable tonight with a good crowd out. Feeling a bit better today. Apart from tomorrow's trip to Auckland being cancelled.

Glad now that I decided not to ramp up training at the beginning of March as originally intended.
