Cycling 1:33:37 [3]

BMR - loop of Pinehaven / Silverstream - Maymorn Hill Rd - Katherine Mansfield.
Legs a bit tired. Foot not sore today. Really starting to miss running. Trying not to remember that I should have been running in one of my favourite areas in the Lake District today.

Cycling 1:37:50 [3]

To Te Marua and then back through Upper Hutt with a Pinehaven loop before the climb. Nice bit of new route in the Mt Marua / Maoribank area - not flat.

Foot hurting a bit, presumably as a result of running yesterday.

Running 27:03 [3] 6.0 km (4:31 / km)
shoes: Air Pegasus 30 Darker blue

Around TMP up to the bridge and back.
Investigating whether time off running has made a difference. Not really, although left foot was pretty much OK. Right foot sore from the beginning but didn't really get much worse though the pain shifted from the back of the heel to the front. A little sore afterwards, but not really too bad - much better afterwards than after some of the longer runs a few weeks ago.

Cycling 55:20 [3] 25.31 km (2:11 / km)

The Whitemans Valley loop CW
Not perfect conditions but may well have been the quickest I've done this - all the cycling in the past few weeks must have been having an effect.

Note

About 2Km walking up and down the road to see how the feet were. Sore at the back of both heels, but no longer sore at the front of the right heel and generally a lot more comfortable than last week.

Cycling 56:40 [3] 25.31 km (2:14 / km)

The Whitemans Valley Loop ACW.
Good conditions, and I felt good as well. Didn't have to drop out of the top 3 gears until the small climb in Silverstream!
