Cycling 2:42:20 [3]

To Susan's parents in Raumati. Round the valley, over the Akatarawas, short old SH1 section then along the expressway cycleway to Raumati.
Feeling quite tired most of the way, but it was fairly hard work as there was a headwind. Also fairly unpleasant weather. Fine at the beginning and end but grim over the Akatarawas. Got very cold on the descent. Felt good though for the last 20 minutes once I'd warmed up and wasn't fighting the headwind.

Cricket 1:20:00 [1]

1-dayer v Petone.
10 runs, a good slip catch. Opened the batting and felt comfortable until falling into an obvious trap.

Cycling 1:12:32 [3]

The longer Whitemans Valley loop ACW
Generally good. A bit slow on the first half, but that was mainly due to headwinds. Felt fine going up BMR.

Running 1:00:08 [3] 10.7 km (5:37 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus 35

Harriers. Witako - Chichester - Winchester - Wyndham - St Pats - Riverbank.
Generally feeling good and enjoying the technical stuff. Wyndham as painful as ever though everyone else was obviously suffering too.

Running 1:11:18 [3] 13.0 km (5:29 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus 37

Johnsons Rd - Stokes Valley ridge - Avro - Avian
Started fairly gently as still a bit stiff from Saturday's cricket. Felt good on the climb and was going at a better tempo from there on.
Added a couple of minutes at the top of the climb as I was running until I hit the gate, but it turned out that both the gate and fence had disappeared so I went too far.

Cycling 56:55 [3]

The Whitemans Valley loop CW
Very strong winds - at times had to slow down to concentrate on staying upright. Surprised to be reasonably quick - legs felt tired but possibly because I was working quite hard.
