Sunday Jun 9 #

Note

Golf at Titahi Bay, playing for Taita Drivers v Titahi Bay
First time I've played in a 'proper' match, and could hardly have gone much better. 84 (37 points - par 70) on a course I haven't played before, and that's completely different to what I've been used to, in testing conditions (strong Northerly throughout with occasional rain). Won our match 3&2 and the singles 1 up (against their club captain) plus the highest Stableford score for the day. Best I've played from tee to green in a long time, but only fairly average around the greens.

Saturday Jun 8 #

Running 46:14 [3] 8.33 km (5:33 / km) +179m 5:01 / km
ahr:133 max:150 shoes: Nike Pegasus 39

QEP. Parked in the middle. Coast then inland to the North, followed by Coast then Inland to the South, with some wiggles due to changes to the tracks.
Hadn't expected to have any spare time today but it turned out that we did, so managed to fit in a run while digesting a decent sized lunch. So took a while to get going. Reasonable tempo thereafter, but legs fairly tired.

Friday Jun 7 #

Running 45:38 [3] 7.11 km (6:25 / km) +344m 5:10 / km
ahr:130 max:149 shoes: Nike Pegasus Trail 4

Te Mata - Purple to Redwoods - Yellow S. - Red N. - Green S.
Probably would have had a rest day if I was going to get any exercise tomorrow. As expected, legs a bit tired, so not putting too much effort in.

Thursday Jun 6 #

Cycling 1:11:17 [3] 30.63 km (2:20 / km) +322m 2:13 / km
ahr:133 max:160

The Mutiny Rd loop ACW. Good conditions and feeling like I'm getting back into cycling again. Must get the bike serviced sometime soon.

Wednesday Jun 5 #

Running 49:15 [3] 9.74 km (5:03 / km) +124m 4:45 / km
ahr:133 max:158 shoes: Nike Pegasus 39

With the running group. Usual route.
Gentle first half, quicker second half as it was just Ben and I.
Coped reasonably well.

Tuesday Jun 4 #

Running 1:12:45 [3] 10.84 km (6:43 / km) +562m 5:20 / km
ahr:132 max:151 shoes: Nike Pegasus Trail 4

Te Mata - Red S. to top, Yellow S. to car park, Green N.
Finally completely over the cold and feeling full of running. Didn't push too hard, but a decent pace felt fairly cruisy.

Note

Golf at Bridge Pa - 95 (33 points). Very solid first half, but then started finding trouble. Not putting well at the moment.
Wishing we'd entered the KB events in time.
