After 3 hours of ski prepping, of which at least 1/2 the time was spent chatting at the waxroom, I managed to test my skis while going for a touring hour with Nancy. Had universal klister of purple klister/VG35 basewax mix. I decided to experiment with a very thin layer of klister. This was not great, I seem to have the stoppers on, so likely I skied a bit on the base wax rather than the universal. Temps around 38.
Went back to the waxroom and added several layers of VR60 with a bit of VR70 mixed in, hoping to add a bit to the glide and be prepared for warm temperature. This ended up being a good choice (see tomorrow's). That took care of an entire day. Oh what fun to be in snowcountry!
