Another inch of new snow here at Smuggs. So I tried the "Grand Tour": up the reservoir, then back then counter clockwise around the "logging" trails to top of housing, down the hemlock, back up the W side and around the country road and back. I skied off tracks whenever there was room for it. Hard work on the uphills! Skis seemed slower as it was warmer (24). I had waxed for colder.

After a lunch and a quick waxing, out for a classic loop. Up the east s of housing to top of zip line, then down country road, and up and down the connectors on the W side. I loved the "Walk". This would be a great area for Ski-O, especially if it could be custom groomed.
