Run to work. Usual. Cut it close to class time so had to hurry. Cool enough to do so without major hassle (i.e. getting too sweaty...)

Running home as usual with extra hill in CW and this time took the Colasante trails approach then up to MH which was fun, and got my heart beating...

Hampton Beach Rockfest 1/2. Was a bit disappointed with my time, was hoping for around 1:25 after my PR in 2014 of 1:22 - body is getting older. In particular, when I get tired after about 4 - 6 miles, I usually increase my stride, (long slower strides), but today, as soon as I did this, my left leg sciatica flared up - felt like it wanted to give out on me behind my knee. So I had to make smaller, less forceful strides, which fixed it. Bummer. Probably the constant misting and the seabreeze, which was very refreshing, my have reduced blood flow a bit. Still won my age class with ~ 2 minutes to spare. Not too bad, after all.
