Trail running 38:00 [2] 3.4 mi (11:11 / mi)

Running trails around Troy's Adam's former property (in conservation now?). Lot of fresh leave fall, and since nobody has been driving on the trails, they are almost invisible at this time. Nice, sunny beautiful quite mid-day outing.

Road Running 45:00 [2] 5.6 mi (8:02 / mi)
shoes: Newton MV3

Test Road Running. Put an extra insole into the racing flats. Now they are much more comfortable, and feet are happier! Ran to work on roads via Lee 5 corners, then ran by the new stadium and added a cool-down loop through College Woods.
5 PM

Road Running 1:20:00 [2] 10.0 mi (8:00 / mi) +110m 7:44 / mi
shoes: Newton MV3

Test Road Run # 2. On my way home. Via Lee 5 corners, up Snell Rd, via Sandpit to Rt 4, Sheep Road to Steeping Stone Rd, 155a to downtown Lee, over Wednesday hills and home. Arrived just before dark. Tried to maintain an even comfortable pace. "Dress rehearsal" for marathon??

10 AM

Trail running 30:00 [2] 2.8 mi (10:43 / mi)
shoes: New Balance MT 101

Run to work. Easy and steady as part of recovery from Saturday's trail run. Legs felt good. Temps warming to "Indian Summer" levels, so shirtless again to keep myself presentable afterwards.
2 PM

Mt Biking 14:00 [2]

Bike to work after shuttling Nancy back from Seacoast Orthopedic Sports Med. (knee injection...). Glorious day, and in spite of 75 degrees, there was a cool breeze while biking. Foliage at absolute peak now here near the Seacoast.
6 PM

Trail running 30:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi) +40m 9:36 / mi
shoes: New Balance MT 101

Running home just as it was getting dark. Had to slow down during second half due to limited visibility. Followed a couple of youngsters (UNH men's Cross country team it seemed) through the College Woods part incl. the "big" hill part. While they chatted away, I managed to keep up with them, but obviously at a higher effort level and chatting would have interfered with my breathing.
