Trail running 2:11:42 [2] 11.59 mi (11:22 / mi) +499m 10:01 / mi

I had to get away for a longer and more scenic run on this crisp and clear weekend day, On the spur of the moment I decided to do Evans and Parker via the camps, which I expected to be closed - they were, although I noticed that some maintenance work was in progress.
After the first mile, I lost track of the snowmobile trail after crossing a new logging area and got channeled west back to the Bow Lake Rd. Then a couple attempts of finding Evan's Mt road, but ended up on dead end private roads instead. Not wanting to go back out (1/2 mile) I decided to bushwalk (off the clock) to the road to Evans pretty much in a NWesterly direction. Then some GI issues prompted me for intermittent walks (also off the clock).
Then after Evans, all seemed fine and I had a good second half of my planned run. I encountered not a single person during the entire run. Only a couple with a dog when I was cooling down by my car for a few minutes before driving home.
