Saturday Oct 24 #

9 AM

Trail running 1:01:52 [3] 6.0 mi (10:19 / mi) +73m 9:56 / mi
shoes: Topo (black)

To Powderhouse Major, got lost a little bit (no map, of course!), and then back just a bit over my planned 1 hour.
Me and the grackles and the barred owl -
otherwise it was quiet - no humanoids encountered.

Friday Oct 23 #

12 PM

Trail running 37:15 [3] 4.01 mi (9:17 / mi) +67m 8:50 / mi
shoes: On Cloud light gray

A "shorty" after 4 hours of ZOOM meetings.
Good enough as I feel a bit funky after yesterdays shingles vacc.

Managed to "draw" the profile of a galloping centaur (with a bit of imagination...)

Thursday Oct 22 #

4 PM

Trail running 1:11:09 [3] 7.65 mi (9:18 / mi) +93m 8:58 / mi
shoes: Topo MT3

The CW-W Foss Farm long loop.
Busiest evening ever with numerous elderly couples with dog(s), and also many youngsters in CW, and flocks of migrating birds. Everybody is on the move.

Tuesday Oct 20 #

9 AM

Trail running 52:29 [3] 6.01 mi (8:44 / mi) +61m 8:28 / mi
shoes: Altra gray (Torin 4)

Mid morning work break gave me the chance to go out for a relaxing run. Gray day, but moderate temps. 1.2 miles on pavement. Good to visit the Thompson loop.
6 PM

Road Running 38:33 [3] 5.2 mi (7:25 / mi) +70m 7:07 / mi
shoes: Altra, Escalante

Dover Pub Run. Nice warm evening so the outside of the Brickhouse was open for Taco night after the run.
The run was relaxed - not a hard workout. Fine with me.

Monday Oct 19 #

4 PM

Trail running 1:26:03 [3] 8.44 mi (10:12 / mi) +49m 10:01 / mi
shoes: Altra gray (Torin 4)

A little lost in E Foss - went straight on a defunct trail, missing the official trail blaze that was hung high on a tree - that's what you get when you stare at the ground. Then I became ambitious to figure our the official trails. And then dusk surprised me - definitely had to slow down, once the footing detail became invisible. But sill made it before 100% darkness set in. A reasonable mileage to start the week..

Sunday Oct 18 #

10 AM

Trail running 1:53:03 [3] 12.5 mi (9:03 / mi) +199m 8:37 / mi
shoes: Topo MT3

CW to Beech to Powder Major on a perfect October Sunday morning. Relaxed yet swift pace - kept it even throughout.
