Conversational and on trails - what could be better! Frigid when we started, much warmer at the end. Saw (and chatted with) two hunters. Still bow and muzzle season - rifle season starts next Wednesday.

Turning up the gas.....
Fast loop to Th. House. First mile on pavement to Surrey, then on the faster trails. Legs are feeling good. L hip, so ,so , but better than yesterday. Having fun on a cool late afternoon.

Stonehouse Pond Loop
Beautiful afternoon to be out. Water from the Nor'easter is receding, but still quite a few puddles around that slowed me down. Ran into neighbor Tom and Toni - nice surprise! Left hip/glute is hurting especially on ups and downs and when there is poor footing.

The swing dance couple doing the "slide trough the legs" move. (better visible in Strava - remove the splits for better view.)
I did not know I had minimalist expressionist drawing talent....Another benefit of running......

Just a quicky before lunch&next meeting
Another bright day.
Hips/groin are feeling a bit better. They were sore from Saturday's 5k sprint.

Seven Hills around SH plus...
no Snow White, but a 2 mile run-out. Last bit in the dark again. L hip is hurting a bit.

Watching the river roar at the falls...
(after Saturday's Nor'easter).
Instead of driving, I figured out a run that visits the river twice. About a mile on pavement, otherwise trails. Another glorious sunset to watch also. Chatted for a while with a hunter who parked at Troy's field. Then it was near dark on the last 1/2 mile, but not a problem.

South Mountain loop at Pawtuck
Had to get away from working - get some miles in, some elevation, enjoy the colorful woods - watch sunset from S. Mt., splash around in 1000 puddles (really!), all this at a balmy 60 degrees. Glad I went!
