Lee Running Gr Saturday jog
From the town side towards my home turf - trying to avoid mud and water from yesterday's run. Still got our feet wet. Easy conversational pace. Met neighbors and friend for whom I stopped for chats. Nice morning..

Trail running (and some pavement) 35:44 [3] 4.28 mi (8:21 / mi) +60m 8:00 / mi
shoes: New Balance MT 910 sz 9

A quicky just as it darkened.
I heard a gunshot so I stayed to the main trails and turned my lamp on a bit earlier, so I could be seen. Pretty fast pace after a rest day - hip felt better.

Beech X2 and Hicks X2
Cruising on foot on the bike trails! Made it back just in time before dark, but took a tumble in a mud crossing spot. Yikes! I wanted to check out the logging on Beech. The bike trails have been nicely reconditioned through the llogging swaths. Bonus! The one mile long access from W. Main is slow, some mud and also obscured by the leaf cover in places.
