Note

9am and I'm still in bed, 11 hours after joining it, now contemplating the full horror that lies ahead, namely STAIRS.
And that's after the one day MMM 6 hour score event.
Meanwhile, the 2 day folks have spent the night shivering their way to dawn in wee tents, in the cold and damp and apparently possibly ground frost, and are now packed up & running up more mountains.
Respect :)

MMM one-day score, paired up with Roger. Great craic, thoroughly enjoyed it. We just went over time but only 2 points per minute penalty so ok. Summited Commedagh for the first time ever. We were quite low down on points, despite what I thought was a good route. We didn't have time to scoop up the controls on Binnian, but did clear Commedagh. Colin & Stephen didn't do Commedagh, but then had time to cover Binnian, and possibly also Bearnagh? I didn't have the nerve to try Bearnagh in the mist and good call as we wouldn't have made it back in time.
Some rock climbing on lower slopes of Binnian which I very much didn't enjoy, but countered by Roger finding an unexpected wonderful wee trail down to Ben Crom dam.
Time to start training for next year???

Strength & Conditioning (Pilates) 45:00 [1]

Essential level DVD. It's just too fast to love it. Back is improving; was v achy earlier all over but that's was due to walking round for many hours gathering points. Will make a final decision on MMM tomorrow. In the meantime, have borrowed the world's smallest torch from McCloy. Hope I don't need to use it.

Strength & Conditioning (Pilates) 1:00:00 [1]

Sneakied into Jayne's class as Davy couldn't make it. Went well but my back is still sore and I couldn't do rolling like a ball or open leg rocker - and I avoided saw etc as the forward flexion was aggravating it last night.
Getting concerned I won't make the start line on Saturday :(

Woop woop Beat The Street is back :) Davy suggested heading out for a few points (yes not pints) so off we went with the dog. She was flagging a bit, just about made it to 5k, then she put the brakes on and eventually had to be carried home. Disgraceful behaviour from my furry friend.

Running 25:57 [2] 3.68 km (7:03 / km) +13m 6:55 / km

And a wee trot with Olivia, keeping the pace low. Stopped after 5 min for a bit of dynamic stretching & mobility. She had to hare off at the end (late for class) but there was no haring on my behalf.
Back is ok running slow, but when I tried to speed up a bit earlier, it was having none of it. Will try again tomorrow.

Strength & Conditioning (Pilates ) 1:00:00 [1]

Class with Ali, after spending about 5 hours driving today to visit a friend, and the remainder of the day sitting & eating.
My back is still sore, I think a little improved, think it's my R SI joint all right. Sorest on flexion (e.g. roll down, v sore). Ali says avoid anything that aggravates it - work in neutral.

Strength & Conditioning (Pilates ) 1:00:00 [1]

Class with Megan. Good class, glutes a go go. Will ring ActivHealth tomorrow for some more variety.
My R SI joint still hurts; I have spent all of today with a heat pad on it, which is helping.
