Note
(sick)

Feeling fine today, but producing vast quantities of gank from my URT. The kind of gank which could glue my lungs together quite easily.

Zero heavy breathing until that goes - this includes C25k. Still gonna splash today though.

Aerobic CrossTraining (Swimming) 30 [0] 0.02 km (25:00 / km)

Actual swimming! Freaking awesome! Even did some front crawl (no head in the water though, let’s not be silly).
Didn’t dash beforehand; I have the cold. May have mentioned that already. Had a lovely chat with a fella David instead as we walked it. Also met very cute pup.

Strength & Conditioning (Yoga) 2:30:00 [0]

Mega Iyengar yoga workshop, about forward bends. She was so attentive to me and my dodgy knees. Didn’t require much actual effort, apart from walking up the wall (!) - but a lot of breathing into the stretch. Good fun. I wonder can I get to more of these classes.

Running 43:51 intensity: (26:54 @1) + (14:06 @2) + (2:51 @3) 5.0 km (8:46 / km)
ahr:116 max:149 shoes: Dark blue Nimbus

Still coldy, and I shouldn't have done this, but my mind needed it.

C25k programme for week 2, extended so's I could actually reach the finish line. Run 90s, walk 2 min etc. Was plenty.

Walked an orange course, easy, with Davy and Veda at Belfast Castle afterwards. Honestly I've never seen as many people on an orange course. Well ok I didn't physically see them, as we arrived late enough and took a long time, but the results were full up, and there were zero orange maps left over. Excellent.

Urrrrgggghhhhhh.

Very glad I skipped C25k yesterday. Need to throw all my energy into my immune system.

Strength & Conditioning (Yoga) 1:00:00 [0]

UV Yoga, ridiculous and anatomical = great!

Note
(sick)

Well that’s no fun. The super-fast-disappearing headcold from a few weeks ago has reappeared.

Strength & Conditioning 1:30:00 [1]

Wildfoot. Started off full of beans, but ran out of beans quite early on. Now (back home) even after super coffee & sizeable lunch, I feel like someone has attached lead weights to all my limbs. Ok sickness, bring it on.
Except not yet, I’ve got 5 classes to teach by this time tomorrow!

Note

Was supposed to hike up a mountain today but the cloud was down below the saddle, never mind the summit, so went for about 2.5 hours walk round Tollymore instead. Topped it off with a dunk in the Glen River with Scott. Starting to love the cold. What a weirdo ;) It’s brill to do this pre-midge season and it was mega mild today too.

Strength & Conditioning 1:30:00 [1]

Wildfooting, followed by amazing fake chocolate orange balls (best thing ever) and outstanding coffee.

Good day training.

Running 32:34 intensity: (19:19 @1) + (5:35 @2) + (5:04 @3) + (1:47 @4) + (49 @5) 2.47 km (13:10 / km) +2m 13:07 / km

Couch to 5k Week 2 Run 1. At Wildfoot again. Seriously love the woods. I alternated terrain & trail. Loved every single second.
