Running 36:33 [2] 4.51 km (8:07 / km) +29m 7:52 / km
shoes: Saucony Peregrine Trail

Ulster Way Ballycastle Forest to Breen Wood. Thought I would walk-jog this but also thought my legs would be sore after parkrun and also thought I maybe wouldn't be bothered at all after being out last night.

Anyway none of those negativities came to pass and I trotted a bit / walked a bit and moved my journey onwards by 4.5km

Running 36:08 [3] 5.1 km (7:05 / km)
shoes: Saucony Peregrine Trail

Orangefield parkrun, and I can safely so no pre- run mobility unless you count carrying the dog over, and no post-run mobility unless you count a hasty shower and out to meet a friend.

The run itself was definitely fartlek, as the dog variously galloped, trotted, or sat down. Also I tried to go headfirst over her lead in the final furlong, but didn't quite manage it.

ANOTHER new course, I think that's at least the 5th different I've done there. Seems long but maybe that's just my Garmin being weird - I'm sure they'd have measured it since it seems they're putting in permanent posts now.

Nice wee grass bit, but I know it's a mudbath there in winter, so maybe they'll have route #6 for winter days.

With Ali, some double leg stretch modifications and I was properly shaky abs

Running 47:24 [2] 5.7 km (8:19 / km) +2m 8:19 / km
shoes: Saucony Peregrine Trail

BARF training, well, I had no intention of trying to run with the group and that was handy because they all rocketed off on the warm up.
Tried to nasal breathe but it's not easy in the cold air.
I'd like to run a parkrun on Saturday so kept it easy, just try this whole midweek running lark.
Unusually it was flat tarmac. Not a contour line in sight.
Did the warm up then 5 minute walk / 10 minute jog / 5 minute walk / jog to hit 5km total.
Fair bit of mobility before and after. Knees really sore in full squat - can't stand up afterwards. Keep going with it.
