Hill Walking 8:18:21 [1] 19.4 km (25:41 / km) +1303m 19:14 / km

Denis Rankin Round DRR hike 4, Rostrevor to Deers Meadow. (from sea level, got let down by our lift, so that was an extra half hour). Challenging day! I'd not been on finlieve before, what a weird place, especially with air temperatures a little below zero and a spicy wind chill right into our faces.
Struggled more with my knees today, and ran out of energy on the climb up Moughanmore. Cara pronounced it was like walking with Old Susan (I think she means the Susan of old, not new sprightly Susan). Anyway things were better on Pigeon Rock, our lift collected us at the end, and it was an excellent day out. Said thank you to Denis on Moughanmore.
Round about the temperature limit for me I think. Bitterly cold at times. Epic views just before sunset helped us to scurry along with smiles on our faces.
Long aul' day.

Strength & Conditioning 30:00 [1]

2nd go through SMM. It's definitely good, especially having the videos to go back to. Turns out I didn't do the unassisted split squats right. Anyway. Onwards.

Running 10:00 [2]

Barefoot on the pitches (been a while!). Mostly bouncing on the spot doing OYF barefoot drills, then realising I'd reallllly like a pee and that's not socially acceptable in the middle of sports pitches. This is where mountains and forests have a great advantage.

Classical mat again. She says we're doing it until Christmas. Abs of steel by then.

With Anita. I wasn't really feeling it today, which is entirely of my own doing.
