Have parted with a vast quantity of money to see Pearl Jam in Marlay Park. Thrilled. Now to figure out the logistics, perhaps can get Slieve Martin run in first.......and also I shall hit up Spotify

The Fisherman's Walk parkrun, honestly now, why can't they call it Portglenone and be done with it. Naming convention rules gone mad!!

Although, Davy was delighted, as it allowed him to claim his T for the parkrun alphabet (I already earned mine courtesy of a freezing cold St Patrick's Day run at Tolka Valley).

Lovely wee parkrun, and I'd like to return when it's a bit quieter (we were pretty well trampled at the start, unable to get through the assembled masses to the back, along with many other slower participants, so it was a bit much. Going too wide off the path would have involved an excursion through the nettles, and thence to an early bath in the Bann).

Effort level in line with Falls. My time was a good bit faster, but that is more a reflection of a much flatter course.

This is still me working at the limit of my ability - nothing there at all for a sprint finish.

Time to be consistent for a month (sleep, strength training, nutrition) now that work is quieter, and see where that lands me

Strength & Conditioning (Pilates ) 10:00 [1]

Before bed Pilates things. Mostly plank-related, working on form, when I don't have to simultaneously talk to teach

Running 20:48 [3] 2.95 km (7:03 / km)
shoes: Altra Lone Peak

Run to the doctor's for blood tests (see if there's anything else causing this osteopenia-osteoporosis carry-on).

Ran more than I wanted to because I mis-timed it. Had to sit in the stuffy waiting room for 10 minutes then and sweat quietly.

Honestly this kind of thing is really really hard work at the moment, for a slow pace, and I don't really get it, I suppose I'm just unfit, but cycling feels just exactly like it always does.

Run home again but I could only convince myself to go as far as The Bin (that got taken away, and is back now, woooo) and then walked the rest. This would be a legitimate cool-down tactic, if you ignore that I immediately scooped up the dog and went back out for a walk with her.

shoes: Freet Feldom

Pottling about checking out Crawfordsburn plus its many, many, path changes for a WEE Series. I think I've got two fun courses planned, and if all else fails we'll just head to the beach for a swim.
This was walk - jog - stand still. Good fun and the observant will note I was in Freet Feldoms, and it felt fine (ground was pretty squidgy off trail).
