Jukola. Ran for Eero's club on SK Uusi 2. Last time I ran Jukola I took it out way too hard at the beginning, wasn't really navigating much, and generally had a bad time. This time I wanted to pace myself properly and have an actually decent race. I wanted to work on the processes. I wanted to practice running a good clean race.

Got a different course than everyone else and didn't realize it. Every time I got to a control I would look and look and look for the bright orange streamer and only find a little piece of toilet paper. All of the controls common with the other course had the orange streamers, yet somehow I didn't connect the dots.

Some kid stole my watch from the weight room so no gps for this one :(

I wasn't spending enough time really focusing on what I was doing and was often just kinda running. This got a lot worse when I was running around other people, because I spent even less time thinking about my route and instead thought about what the other person was doing.

Afterwards I went back out to redo a couple controls.
