Nydalens ski trip to coach Ander's cabin in Rauland. I went out for a short ski just after we arrived. It is lovely here with great snow. It's a bit more open than I'm used to so I hope it isn't a windy weekend.

Ice skating 40:00 [2]

Ice skating at the NIH field. In preparation for making homemade Norwegian waffles Cristina, Sam, and Ross ran out to obtain some supplies. I prefer skating on ice rather than running on it so I took the opportunity to go skating before the Sunday public skating session officially started. Very thankful to Ross and Sam for bringing the waffle maker and making our first batch! Yummy.

Well after I got Cristina and Ari off on their way to Hamar I was supposed to go for a walk around Sognsvann but my walking buddy sprained her ankle on the way over (Norway - your ice control measures are not working). So I lost enthusiasm for that and instead did the standing and core sections of my new pregnancy pilates video. So far it seems great! It's in 10 minute segments and each exercise is only done a few times so I can't get too tired/bored/frustrated.

I meant or go for a 30 minute ski today before headin back to Oslo but I was having such a nice time so i did the same thing as yesterday.
