Cycling 30:00 [3] 4.5 mi (6:40 / mi)

Tonight after work I was so tired that I called Cristina up and made her get me from work. Some bright orange chips did not help me get my energy up so we picked up pizza on the way home. Now I'm just getting lazy since my driver is back.

Biked to work. Got off and called Cristina who was WAITING for me outside the hospital with her car and bike rack! Yay! It's nice to be coddled after a long day of coddling other people.

Running 32:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:40 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2020

I finally made it out the door and walked over to the golf course (about a 10 minute walk) and ran around the whole thing. I ran a little slower than last time, which had to be a PR for me. However, it's been a few weeks and it's darn hot out.

Cycling 30:00 [3] 4.5 mi (6:40 / mi)

I convinced the day security staff that they had nicely locked my bike up for me in storage and rode home from work. Whew. No more night shifts for a month.

Cycling 30:00 [3] 4.5 mi (6:40 / mi)

Oh my goodness. So for my class the other day I put my badge and my bike lock in my purse, as I usually do when I run little errends on my days off to shop on bike. So, I guess I forgot to put them back in my "work bag" for this one random night shift that I had to do. I realized this when I was nearly there and didn't have time to go back. So I hightailed it to security where they almost didn't let me store my bike with them. Good lord. If they did their jobs right I wouldn't have to worry so much about my bike. Finally they stored it for me one a "one-time basis", and paid for a new badge. My old badge had worn-out letters anyhoo. Whew. Remarkably the night actually went pretty well after all of that.

Cycling 1:00:00 [3] 9.0 mi (6:40 / mi)

Just to confuse me I have to wake up EARLY to go to a class during the day and then do one more night shift before switching back to days.

Run/Walk 50:00 [3]
shoes: Asics 2020

Met up with some running group people and ran a pretty good lap around the golf course in about 30 minutes. There is some debate as to whether a lap is 2.8 miles or 2.98 miles but either way that's the fastest I've ever done a whole lap. I was being pushed a little bit by the other runners and it didn't feel quite as hot as hell so I think that helped. There were also quite a few people out on the path tonight which made it more interesting.

After the lap we walked for about 12 minutes and then turned around and ran part of the way back to the cars and met up with crazy fools Cristina and Ted who had done 2 laps.
