Running 32:00 [2]
shoes: Rainbow Brite

I ran over to Svartkulp with Cristina and then she ran off chasing some controls. I felt great but kept it short.

Jumpies circuit 30:00 [2]

My "homework" from trainer Beth. I did a short warm-up of jumping jacks and jogging around the apartment. Then:
20 plank arm reaches (tap the floor to each side)
20 sit-ups
20 jumping lunges
16 up-downs
30 mason twists
20 side plank leg raises
and repeated 2 more times.

OK! Except for the last set of up-downs. I just hate those.

Running 30 [2]
shoes: Rainbow Brite

Ran over to Svartkulp and around slowly with Cristina. It's really starting to get cold out. I would have been happy with thin gloves on. But I was happy anyway because it was a nice fall day and I have a week off from teaching for fall break!

Running 27:39 [2] 4.0 km (6:55 / km)
shoes: Slime

Went for a run around Sognsvann with Cristina and Alli. They were both a bit sick so I was able to keep up and even did a 7 minute strength circuit afterwards.

Running race 29:29 [3] 5.0 km (5:54 / km)
shoes: Rainbow Brite

I ran a 5K womens race today with Astrid near Aker Brygge. Unfortunately the track was quite narrow and we mistakenly placed ourselves behind a lot of women who looked faster than they were. It took about 2K before I could even run near race pace. Astrid and I ran together most of the way but I had energy to burn at the 3.5 K mark so I sprinted the rest alone. I am quite happy with this time and would like to see what I can do in ideal conditions!

We got champagne and goodie bags at the end so it wasn't a total waste of time.
