Running 30:00 [3]

Ran down to campus and then back. Stopped just for a few lights and to let the traffic admire my bulging muscles in my running shorts. It's been a little while and I felt pretty done after half an hour.

Run/Walk 30:00 [1]

I basically just ran around the neighborhood slowly tonight. I went out a little after 6pm and noticed that it did, indeed, get dark quickly. I walked after about 12 minutes and ran a bit more and then walked for a few minutes and then finished off strong. BG afterwards in the 50s which could account for not feeling very strong. I stretched well afterwards and I still have some sore spots from the hike yesterday.

Hiking 1:30:00 [3]

Cristina convinced me to go hiking in Sabino Canyon today. We went on some of the trails that had not been destroyed by flooding in August and it was wonderful, as twilight hiking should be. There were some steep sections of Blackbird Ridge (?) and we didn't finish the whole trail for reasons that shall not be discussed here :) The whole thing was wonderful and invigorating but I'm a little sore.

Headed out on Grant and then Broadway until I felt like turning around at the mall. I passed a lot of doughnut shops but didn't stop and then I got home and my mom had sent me a bunch of cider doughnuts from home! Oh well.

I ran up Mountain again to the University and then played dodgeball on the campus mall in the middle of all the informal football games. I meant to do 50 minutes but I got pretty tired after 20 so I just walked home. BG 60 after run, which may have been part of it.

Run/Walk 20:00 [3]

My run up Mountain yesterday was so nice that I wanted to do it again today. As I left the house I felt a big raindrop but decided to see how long the rain would hold out. As soon as it started raining for real I turned around. Again today my legs felt like lead starting out but then felt better after the warmup.

On the Ipod was a Mrs. Pollifax mystery (because at heart I'm an old British lady).

This was a run/walk purely because crossing busy intersections takes so bloody long. Apart from that it was a lovely run after my warmup. I ran up Mountain to the University and then back.
