Chuck has been trying to get me to go with him on his weekly swim at the YMCA. Okay. Sing it again Y-M-C-A. Okay I'm over it. I finally went last night and I am so glad I did. It is a fairly new building with a nice pool and small indoor track, as well as a fitness/weight room. They had two ergs that were in decent shape for a a gym.
I warmed up on the track, spent most of my time on the elliptical as I am still coddling my knee a bit, and then did a few minutes of erging. I was impressed I could keep decent splits but I got winded pretty quickly.
*Next time I am a "guest" of my parents at the YMCA I will have to remember to bring home a bathing suit to try out the pool*
