Run/Walk 2:02:00 [3] 9.0 mi (13:33 / mi)

As part of my "training" for the Tucson half-marathon I needed to test my stamina for running a long distance by myself. Again, I tried the 8 minutes on and one minute walkding pattern which worked very well. The only bummer was that my blood sugar was dropping right from the start so I had to load up on almost all of my cliff shot blocks on the first lap. After walking for about half a lap to get over the low I ran the next three miles without any difficulty. At about mile 8 my knees started to hurt and I had to increase my walking time until finally I just had to walk it on home. Hopefully I didn't do too much damage.

Cycling 40:00 [3]

Rode to Reid Park for my run and then back.
