Kiki and I went for a hike on the agua caliente trail. Due to the consistency of Tucson weather it never occurred to use to check the weather report, but as we started driving Kiki noticed the huge dark clouds overlying the area that we were heading. Luckily for us it takes a lot for it to rain in Tucson so we managed to get about half of the hike in (and see a really huge bug and a tiny snake) before we turned around. We stayed out of canyons in case of flash flooding and it was a great day.
This morning we went running in Sabino canyon on the Esperero trail. It's starting to get really nice out even after 7 am - and I'm getting psyched about running in Tucson this fall/winter. Wow and it's only 3 days before I turn 30! yikes.
