Running 40:00 [3]
shoes: Orange Trail Runners

40 minutes on (sort of) loop down on the trails off of Broadway. I missed my last turn and ended up going a few minutes in the wrong direction but I realized it and came back. Luckily I was walking by that point so it wasn't too far to make up. Unfortunately since I was walking it took a while to get back to the parking lot where Cristina was worried since she never caught up to me on the trail. Whoops!
I'm not sure what is going on but I seem to be having fun running lately!

Basals reduced to 50% before leaving the house (45 minutes before running) and I ate yogurt (19 g) then too as my blood sugar was in the 80s). Blood sugar before starting: 140s. Blood sugar at the end: 92.

Running 38:00 [3] 2.83 mi (13:26 / mi)
shoes: Orange Trail Runners

Cristina and I met up after work (hers not mine) and drove off into the east to run at the trails at the end of Speedway. I wasn't sure what I would feel like doing but I planned on being out for 40 minutes. Before I started I had eaten a strawberry bar at home without bolusing so I would be a little higher (low 200s) before running. No basal changes today. It was perfect running weather with a long-sleeve shirt and shorts and I surprised myself by feeling great halfway through. I did a loop for about 20 minutes (Garwood to something else to Douglas springs- then a dog-leg down a stock trail to make the total time just under 40 minutes. Then I sat and watched the sunset while waiting a few minutes for Cristina to come in. My blood sugar had dropped to 49 by the end of it and my sensor was showing a similar trend (though not quite the same numbers).

Running 46:32 [3] 4.0 mi (11:38 / mi)
shoes: Purple cow

Meet me at Maynards run. It was my 3rd in a row and I felt great. We went out a little too fast but it was easier than last week. I forgot my fancy watch again which was a bummer. Afterwards I had fancy pizza at Maynards with Cristina and Joe (from wog) and they convinced me to try to run in the coming week. OK I didn't need convincing that it would be a good idea but rather inspiration to actually do it.
