Walking 30:00 [2]

We're staying in this wonderful resort in Sedona and I took advantage of some of the activities this morning. I first went to the morning stretch which was relaxing and felt good after running and hiking yesterday. Then we went for a short powerwalk. It was just me and another couple along with the instructor. I wasn't sure I would fit in with the resort crowd but we just talked about activities to do around the resort and the Vortex phenomena here in Sedona. Our instructor said she got in to teaching Yoga and all of this energy stuff due to an inner ear/vertigo problem called Meniere's disease.

Running race 39:30 [3] 3.5 mi (11:17 / mi)
shoes: Purple cow

Today I did a "5K" turkey trot in Sedona with most of Cristina's family. It was uncomfortably cold at the start but warmed up nicely during the course. The race turned out to be 1/2 mile longer than expected because it wasn't marked well and most people did an extra loop. There were bigger hills than I'm used to which was good. My knees hurt at the end and I think it was from the downhill parts. They don't seem to hurt when I run hold trail running at Sabino oddly enough.

Hiking 40:00 [2]
shoes: Orange Trail Runners

We hiked the little trail leading out from our casita for almost 30 minutes and then turned around. We needed to get back in time for our Thanksgiving dinner reservation. It was a much shorter trip back as Sara lead by alternating walking and running and it was mostly downhill. I can't wait to hike more of the trails here.
