Mnweni Marathon round 2 for 2019. I had a great run in terms of time, route choice was very good, ended up passing the leading two about 6k in and they followed me basically to the last crossing of the mnweni river, I started feeling the effects of my blood donation from last week badly on the climb up mnweni! Stijn came cruising past me, as I slowed quite a bit. Clean route and good sugars to the finish but just couldn’t push the pace. Very chuffed with the time though!
