A2A Bronkies 120km AR with Dewald, Misty & Armand racing as A2A. We had a great race as a team, working well together, Armand had some bad food positioning leading up to the race so right off the start line we slowed the pace just a bit to keep him moving, and this worked well, he toughed it out well and we kept moving.

Trek 1 was definitely a highlight with some awesome kloof views and then 3/4 swims across a wide and flowing wilge river. We finished this leg in 5th and kept 5th to the end, passing songlines and being dropped on the final bike by balega.

The kayak was a really cool leg as well with a few small rapids, although I chose a narrow channel through some trees, and was the only 1 of 4 to make it through upright, and we then got our kayak bag caught in a tree, it ripped off and was never to be seen again, after a few minutes of searching the channel.

Cycle 2, nav error from me not finding a mapped path through the cultivated lands and then deciding to take a longer route around, added 15-20min to our leg time. Team was feeling good but Armand still struggling to recover.

Trek 2. Jogged some short sections to start and end, but took the rest really easy, especially on the climb up in the mid day heat, nice views of loskop from the top.

Cycle2. Slow trek out the valley to the main road, mostly pushing and trying to conserve, nav was easy and clean, we passed songlines and then balega dusted us, and made sure they kept ahead slightly.

Relative to Cyanosis, we lost the following splits:
Trek1, 13min. (5th fastest)
Kayak, 5min (5th fastest)
Cycle1 40min (7th fastest)
Trek2 19min (4th fastest)
Cycle2 16min (4th fastest)

Happy with the result! and really enjoyed the race, would have liked some more challenging nav, but it was good to nav the full race relatively well.
