Pete Marlin doubles day, paddling with my Dad, as we got out behind the break, a big swell was coming from the left and wind from another direction, my Dad couldn't follow my stroke, feeling unstable in the boat, so we decided to turn back for the shore and call it. Better safe than sorry.

Pete Marlin in East London, from Orient to Yellow Sands, messy downwind, I went too close to the shore so had to paddle out to see at Nahoon, Gunobie, and Yellow sands losing a fair bit of time. A lot more work is required on my ocean paddling skills.
