Yield marathon, 8x laps of the yield route plus some extra. The goal was a sub 3, which I knew would be a push, didn’t have a great build up, but this wasn’t exactly an A race for me. Managed to get to 30km in 4:08/km pace and it started going badly fairly quickly after that. Sugars were near perfect but cramps hit hard and ended up walking a fair bit towards the end. If you don’t go you won’t know I guess. Almost 90 runners out there today. Super cool.

The dabs short, something a bit different, short course marathon race on the new portage. Super cool. I ended up with MJ as second bunch, behind Clint, Siseko and Luke, they got away, I took MJ in the end sprint for 4th.

10km K1 individual tt at VLC, that was one of the hardest sessions I’ve done in a while. The first km was fine and then I started thinking how am I going to finish it, ouch. Happy with the time though, and perhaps could go faster with a more controlled first 3km.
