Really bad today. Getting worse by the minute. Lots of pain, can't think. Try to sleep, can't. Have to sleep sitting up. Lousy way to end the year. Took some Tylenol - helped a bit for an hour. Aaargh.

No training today. Feel really sick. Flossed differently and seem to have created a problem with lower left jaw. Throbs when I move my head. I always wondered about flossing - seems to be crude and unnatural?

Ran to Acalanes High. Watched the soccer game. They lost 1-2, Kelsey in goal again. This is a tough time to find players - they're all oot. Came across a weird tree with tons of fruit on the way back. Fruit looks like a blueberry or even a dark grape. Noticed that the birds aren't eating this stuff, so it can't be good. Tried some. Yeuch, spit spit. Horrendous. I reckon the birds know...

Ran down to Acalanes High to watch Varsity soccer. Kelsey was goalie (poor kid). She did ok, but they lost 0-3. Plenty of warm rain. Bleachers are made of aluminum - hard, wet, cold. I wonder how much training a soccer game equals (in miles, or time). Not much if you're goalie...

Did intervals at Acalanes while Kelsey had soccer practice. They asked her to be goalie - she's never done that before. Raining like mad the whole time, but at least it's warm (60s). She's learning to dive in the wet... yeuch. Track running seems faster than road running. I wonder why.

Ran down to Walnut Creek to watch a movie with the kids - Arwen, Kelsey, Sarah. Narnia. It was full, so we went over to Pleasant Hill instead. Popcorn line was sooo long, almost missed the start of the movie. Is popcorn nutritious? I didn't eat any. Movie was a definite B-.
