Nina got me an appointment with the dentist today. He had a tough time getting home from Tahoe this am, because 80 was closed and 50 was really slow. He looked really tired... He doesn't know what it is, but has prescribed amoxicillin for 10 days in case it's just an infection from flossing. It's still really bad - about an 8 on the pain scale. Lip and lower jaw are numb now. Feels like novocaine except I didn't have any. Dentist says it's probably a swelling pressing on the nerve. If amoxicillin doesn't work, will have to go to endodontist - root canal? Still don't really know which tooth even - x-rays are clear.
