Softball 1:30:00 [1]
slept:6.0 weight:200lbs

Close game. Arwen came to watch. I batted 750 (on base 3 of 4 at-bats), without errors, did some reasonable base running and got home once.

We were tied at 10-10 after 4. Then 15-10 after 5. Then 16-10, and we were up to try to save it. Got 3 runs, then two outs. I got on and batted one in, Tino got on, so we had the go-ahead run at the plate. Needed one more hit, but didn't get it so it ended up at 16-14, but lots of hollering and fun.

Walk (d'Andrea golf course) 1:04:00 [1] 4.0 mi (16:00 / mi) +75m 15:07 / mi
slept:5.0 weight:200lbs

Walked up the course to the far holes with Arwen. Nice sunset. Beautiful evening, about 73 degrees. The rabbits seemed to think it's just right too, as did the birds and frogs.

Went to the clubhouse (nice place on the hill) to see what a round costs, and membership and so on. Nice restaurant there too. There wasn't anybody there, although the place was wide open. They must be hurtin' for crime, I guess.

Walk (China Camp field check) 2:00:00 [1] 6.0 mi (20:00 / mi) +100m 19:01 / mi
slept:9.0 weight:200lbs

Field check white and yellow at China Camp. Joan says the cross-over trail is overgrown, and can't use streamers because she's using it for Brown. So had to re-design the whole thing.

The salt marsh would be a great place to plunk a control if it wasn't a problem with people traipsing all over it and leaving trails everywhere. It's also a shame that the far island is now OOB because that would make a great white/yellow.

Is it fair or smart to use the remote start of the advanced courses? It's 75m up, and the course would then have to go another 50m up. Seems like a bit superfluous for white. Anyway, we can do it that way, or with another remote start that eliminates the climb. I like the latter.
