Really loving all the 1st Phorm products I've been using. Almost everything I have is for endurance/recovery, but I used their Megawatt V2 pre workout last night. Just felt really motivated and focused. Never tried a pre workout that I liked before. Post workout I used my typical Formula-1 protein/Ignition glucose stack with glutamine.

From the Rev3 race, headed out with Glen and Chris through the back roads of Loudoun County in search of gravel. They are paving more and more, but we found a good 12-15 miles worth as we made a loop around Bull Run Mountain. Chris knew the roads and gave us a tour of a beautiful area. Stepping up on my 1st Phorm pedestal...they just came out with a BCAA supplement, which is 7.5g of BCAAS with an amino and electrolyte blend. Legs were screaming the first 30min but made a big comeback after I started sipping it. I still need to test it out some more (make sure it wasn't just a fluke that there was more climbing the first half of the ride), but this could be my go-to in races and hard training.

No sleep last night at work. Nice little tidbit...the beds at our station have PLASTIC mattresses. No quality sleep ever happens there. Add to that the cold coming on strong. Slept in a chair in the day room to spare the guys my coughing, but we were up 4x for calls anyway.
