Catonsville Crit 1/2/3 win. Goal was to make the race hard then win the sprint. Did that. Course was uphill for half, downhill on the backside. After a few laps, sent out a feeler with a breakaway and it stuck, so I kept it going w/2 other gals. Did most of the work, they were hurting but hanging. Took a little rest in the last few laps, especially once we were about to catch the field. They didn’t want to do that and finish with a pack sprint, and I was fine with it. Final lap, positioned in the front for the downhill so I could lead thru the chicane and the hard left to the uphill finish. As soon as I hit the turn, threw down power. If powermeter is accurate, and it looks like, I broke 1000W for the first time. Back to racing.
