orienteering 39:00 [5] 6.0 km (6:30 / km) +100m 6:00 / km

An OK run for where I was set out. Held my place. This involved dropping Ali Thornton and Andrew though after they caught me up following an awful first half performance:L an absolutely class area for a relay, spectating was pretty cool....

Event: JIRCs
2 PM

orienteering 1:04:00 [4] 6.0 km (10:40 / km) +350m 8:15 / km

Jircs individual, Graythwaite.
Started OK just not especially fast. Good up until twelve apart from one route which despite being marked through open was through the worst heather imaginable... This lost me about two minutes. Second half was a bit disastrous:L over a minute lost on thirteen and seven on 16 in addition to some stupid mistakes put me well off the pace which I doubt I would have hit even if I was clean... Number sixteen annoyed me though as the control circle was right over a main crag feature and I found myself horribly confused:L good tough area though and a solid time from Sasha.

running 14:35 [5] 4.25 km (3:26 / km) +65m 3:11 / km

School cross country, dropped Iain after the first hill and then it was a bit of a solo effort so didn't get it all out of myself... Forty seconds out of last year and I could probably have pushed more...

running 1:00:00 [3] 12.0 km (5:00 / km) +150m 4:42 / km

Monument with friends. Some good chat but feeling tiiiired so an easy couple of days to come before the school cross country on Thursday. Will be interesting to see what pace I can shift at after my severe lack of speed work these past months... Weight has gone down past few weeks which is weird:L
