running 35:00 [2] 7.0 km (5:00 / km) +50m 4:50 / km

Easy with Sasha and Will.

running 1:30:00 [3] 23.0 km (3:55 / km) +50m 3:52 / km

12x800 off 3:30. Felt pretty easy for the first few running 2:32-5s. Started getting upped a bit near the end and was suffering running 2:30 for the last couple and 2:25 for the twelth. Started the 13th thinking i might go for the full 15 but everyone i was running with had finished and died after about 25m with the fast guys so called it a day. Great session though, getting some werk in. 4x200 at the end as well with the last couple in 26.xx.

I have some speed but gonna be a long time till i have any sorta fitness...

Some calculations on the way home.

-I was ~10 seconds behind Jack on every rep which puts me maybe a minute slower than him on a 5km.

-On the minute reps on Saturday Eddie was lagging by about 3 seconds, meaning he would finish ~45 seconds behind me in a 5km.

-So that puts Eddie's 5km time at around 16:30!!

I think that is really good and it will only get better if he continues with his 30 minute cycles around the seat! Keep it up big man.

Dying on the seat with Ali, Tam, Sasha and Will before heading to the meadows for some strides. Slept pretty bad last night so tired tired tired.

Nice and easy with Anna. Think it is gonna be a while before i can run up a hill without extreme exhaustion. Really nice way to start a beauuutiful day.

Finished the run and i said i was surprised that we had only done 150m climb. Anna then informed me that no, we had a lot more than that because strava took away the downhill from the uphill and that we had just done a net uphill of 150m. Some funny logic but i like it...

running 58:00 [2] 10.36 km (5:36 / km) +170m 5:11 / km

Last minute decision to get out for a very easy one with Scott G. Feeling dead and loving the pace.
6 PM

running 1:05:00 [3] 15.3 km (4:15 / km) +100m 4:07 / km

Session with Max, Tom and some slow ginger boy. 10 mins (5), 5x1 min(2), (5) 10 mins. Went to the grass track in the hope that we would be able to run 400s instead of the 1 minutes but sadly some boys were playing cricket so just did the 10 mins around the perimeter and the minutes corner to corner of the field

First 10 minutes started just behind Eddie then triggered him by cutting corners and going past him.

Was gonna take the minutes reasonably easy but Eddie went ham so had to go a bit faster than i would like. Had to endure 2 minutes of complaints and cries from Eddie between each minute about how he still had DOMS from Wednesday and that he didn't wanna do all 10 minutes of the second tempo and how he could feel a stitch coming on blah blah blah. Because of this I had to bin him on every rep. All below 2:40s with a nice 60 second 400 to finish (actually 57 seconds of 2:29s, feels).

Just before we started the second 10 minutes i endured yet another 5 minutes of Eddie's moaning. Was ready to have a good time working with him so went off nice and slow only to realise he was no-where to be seen. 6 minutes in i look around and he is bent over the side of the field deep in oxygen debt swaying from side to side. Ground out the last 4 mins and all was g.

Moral of the story is don't do a session with Eddie if you want to run with someone because he is too slow.

3:16 for the first tempo and 3:19 for the second. On a semi-serious note this felt good and pleasantly shocked by the paces.

running 1:15:00 [3] 12.5 km (6:00 / km) +300m 5:21 / km

Easy 40 on the seat with some boys then 10x200 on the killing fields. Marked out on the grass for the first 5 then just 35 in my head after Narbett had stolen his top back. Lovely run and very dirty on the 200s they were horrid. 60-90 seconds between each I would say.
5 PM

running 35:00 [3] 7.64 km (4:35 / km) +40m 4:28 / km
