running 1:15:00 [3] 16.2 km (4:38 / km) +50m 4:34 / km

4x1k (2:30). Went down because i knew i would get nothing out of myself if i didn't. Session was 6 but i couldn't hack that. Pleased with that anyhow, some work on some legs that felt veeeery tired. Just sitting off the back of Jack, Max and Mike.

2:55, 55, 55, 51

Then paced 700 of their 6th rep and a couple strides. Weak but a bit of work in nonetheless.

running 1:10:00 [3] 12.73 km (5:30 / km) +300m 4:55 / km

Feeling pretty dire around BnB. Had to get out earlier than planned to get back for some group OSCE revision. Lots of tops off meandering around the flat good times and a nice wasted evening.

Note
(rest day)

Maybe a climb but going a bit too wild so backing off might be advised.

running 34:30 [3] 6.97 km (4:57 / km) +70m 4:43 / km

Up the bog and then a small lap of the meadows. Unreal morning yet again so tops off it was. Lots of complaints from the legs which i guess isn't massively surprising... Good little squad out with numerous exams happening.
7 PM

running 32:00 [2] 6.4 km (5:00 / km)

Warming up and down for the biggest race of the year.

running 10:05 [4] 3.2 km (3:09 / km)

Meadows 2 mile. Went off reasonably slow in comparison to everyone else but still pretty hard. Both miles in around 5:02 and not gassing toooo hard at the end and working off a few peoples shoulders meant it was very enjoyable. Great fun running straight past the loud group of hippiesque people playing tunes at the end of middle meadow to start. Loving the vibes and great to blow off some steam before first exam tomorrow.

Easy with Sasha and Will.
6 PM

running 1:30:00 [3] 23.0 km (3:55 / km) +50m 3:52 / km

12x800 off 3:30. Felt pretty easy for the first few running 2:32-5s. Started getting upped a bit near the end and was suffering running 2:30 for the last couple and 2:25 for the twelth. Started the 13th thinking i might go for the full 15 but everyone i was running with had finished and died after about 25m with the fast guys so called it a day. Great session though, getting some werk in. 4x200 at the end as well with the last couple in 26.xx.

I have some speed but gonna be a long time till i have any sorta fitness...

Some calculations on the way home.

-I was ~10 seconds behind Jack on every rep which puts me maybe a minute slower than him on a 5km.

-On the minute reps on Saturday Eddie was lagging by about 3 seconds, meaning he would finish ~45 seconds behind me in a 5km.

-So that puts Eddie's 5km time at around 16:30!!

I think that is really good and it will only get better if he continues with his 30 minute cycles around the seat! Keep it up big man.

running 1:05:00 [2] 12.0 km (5:25 / km) +200m 5:00 / km

Dying on the seat with Ali, Tam, Sasha and Will before heading to the meadows for some strides. Slept pretty bad last night so tired tired tired.

running 57:40 [2] 9.48 km (6:05 / km) +150m 5:38 / km

Nice and easy with Anna. Think it is gonna be a while before i can run up a hill without extreme exhaustion. Really nice way to start a beauuutiful day.

Finished the run and i said i was surprised that we had only done 150m climb. Anna then informed me that no, we had a lot more than that because strava took away the downhill from the uphill and that we had just done a net uphill of 150m. Some funny logic but i like it...
