Lunchtime Pyrmont sprint training with Ondrej and Andy. Loads of fun.
Only technique issues was reading the fine detail of the map, which i still seem to need to stop to be able to get vision, and flicking in my brain from forest maps for sprint colours to be intuitive.

Moonlight madness neutral bay. Format was basically a summer series, except with writing down answers like London street-o's... Which is a bit annoying but meh.
Rushed my planning so I could use what's left of the light, as I only had a half dead bike light strapped to my thumb. Went well for the first quarter, until I under-ran 20, and took about 5 mins to realise (the control desc was "on building", so could have been anywhere) From there was fine until 24, where I couldn't find one path, and the second was later confirmed not to exist. Through to 21 I should have skipped. It was a bushtrail and I didn't have the light for it.
These 3 errors meant I was at the time limit with 5 quick controls just out of reach.
Main takeaway is that I need to attack the easy/quick/bunched controls as early in the run as possible. I I'd done my exact route in reverse I would have had a lot more pts when I ran out of time and headed home. 440pts

Legs really shattered from the weekend... don't remember the last time my legs were this shattered from running. feels like a post-marathon sort of level of shatteredness. Feels good!
