Want to spend a bit more time in the pool before swimrun this year, and better with paddles, so did 100s with paddles at Annette Kellerman while waiting for Oscar to wake up for his swim

Finally got back on the bike after giving it a rest in prep for cradle (I was blaming cycling for my hip issues). A couple laps of centennial at power and I was dusted, almost to the point of pulling over. Decided that was enough and I was still a long way from recovering from cradle. Although quite surprised to see I PB'd on one of the full laps! Especially considering I've chainganged with viv there before...

Leg check up in Wellington Park along a little trail next to the road by headtorch. Main issue is inner bone of R ankle which i remember knocking on a rock during the race. Direct pain after 2-3kms, which occurred again walking the following day. Not sure if bone or the ligament which runs under the bone. Otherwise felt surprisingly good, and if it wasn't 9pm at night with a dying headtorch, probably would have gone further up mt wellington.
