yay >21k!
through wolli creek trail, bardwell valley trail, then bouncing from park to park through to oatley. tried all the tracks then met anne at a park with oscar and may.
had a great idea of ordering an egg-roll at 20k and then jogging around the park while it was cooked. worked perfectly.

Very good for the mindset to have done a run like this. Heart/chest/stomach was playing up in the last 4 k (kinda felt like a half-empty camelback)... could actually hear it moving. crazy.

Trying the Barden ridge route. Its bikepath so figured it was a good one for long-weekend traffic, and scouting to see if its a good one for midweek mornings.
Its pretty clear, but slow going. The path by the main road is good, but it turns into riding on the footpath pretty much... a work in progress.
Hand was very sore holding handlebars and was riding one-handed a fair bit

Note

was thinking of doing an o map at field of mars this morning, but chest and gut was playing up last night. Also meant anne had a chance to go for a morning run, so will do it another day

Cycling 38:15 intensity: (5:49 @0) + (28:48 @1) + (3:37 @2) + (1 @3) 10.29 km (16.1 kph) +48m
ahr:112 max:142 (injured)

had planned on doing suburban dirt but had a minor crash on a narrow twisty bit of bikepath (that i've ridden on a million times.
was too fast and drifted into the other lane, where there was pine-needles and front wheel gave out.
grazes up left arm, left hand left knee, bruises on inside left leg, and some hand pain, but otherwise ok

MapRunF at Hurlstone Park
Ran with a paper map i found... I'm SURE i've run this before, but i can't see anything in my log, or in the results... weird...
Others had suggested you lose a bit of time at each control waiting for a beep, but i found the opposite... i normally lose a bit of time at every control looking for it while standing a metre away.
I did, however, have headphones in at the start, but the beep wasn't coming through them, so put them away. Afterwards experimenting found that it does work. That would have saved close to a minute, where i didn't feel or hear the beep, or was waiting for it, or pulled out the phone to check.
Cool concept.

had gut issues after. seems a theme with hard running.
Garmin believe lactic threshold is only 20s/k slower than pre-op. not sure about that, but interesting to get a metric

Cycling 1:59:29 intensity: (2:16 @0) + (1:27:52 @1) + (28:27 @2) + (54 @3) 45.88 km (23.0 kph) +386m

como loop. Had intended on including an out-and-back to audley, but didn't feel to strongly about it.
rode a bit more relaxed, and tried some new parts to the route which weren't worth it. Had a taxi roll through on me in a roundabout, and a truck honk me for being stopped at lights in the (left edge) of the right lane (so as not to block cars turning left on red)
Little things like that really get my stress up and ruin the ride a little for me... will avoid those two spots in future
