FINALLY had the opportunity to try the chain of ponds mtb track on the cx bike. so much dismounting that it was fun for me, but wouldn't have been fun if i'd been doing it with someone else. Did a fair bit of exploring, including some off-track stuff near a bridleway, so probably would only be 40mins if i stuck to the track. also noted that the high-trail is generally more rideable.

New shoes - new balance all terrain. had a teleconference that didn't require much input so did it jogging. running felt super hard and took a lot of walking breaks. Not sure whether to blame that on running 2 days in a row, or the new shoes (which are rubbish) or the distraction.
yep huge bruise on the bottom of my foot so will stay on the bike for a bit

cx cooks river. found some new spots. a bit grassy from the rain, need more riders to go over the tracks. Little trumper park also has been changed a fair bit, not much to do now.
