Metro #1 pretty scrappy. Huge 13 minute mistake at #2 (although seems like everyone struggled there). There was an indistinct track which was completely non-existant... lesson learnt - ignore indistinct tracks and go by compass/terrain there. Think the best attackpoint would actually have been to stay on the track until the junction further up. Minor mistakes for the rest mostly close to the circles. Results suggest it wasn't as bad as it felt... not last!
Ankle was strapped, and knee did not trouble me, although was sore before.
Anne rolled her ankle pretty badly on the mini and we had to leave abruptly.

took the morning off to go to the zoo with the kids and neices. Jogged in from there to the office. Backpack was very heavy, haven't run with a backpack for ages, was a real struggle.

beginners session in the v7, including self-recoveries etc Felt a lot more stable than i was expecting, but otherwise felt as good as i expected, especially with a racing paddle. Can't wait to get back in one
