Tolosa half
A fun course 700m up in the first half and 700m down in the second.
Nice fun descent and short enough that you have the energy for it.

Was surprised at the pace from the start, slotting in >20th, and finishing around 30th.
noticably the trail running community down here is a lot younger, i would have been one of the older people there, and thus, a lot stronger!
Everyone seemed to be able to descend really well, guess that comes with the territory! no fake trail runners here!

first venture partway up kunanyi, to the springs. had not intended to head up but was looking good for time and enjoying the warmth.
will be hard to layer properly for a summit. was sweating in 2 thin layers at the base, and freezing with a jacket, buff and full gloves and the springs.

Very aware of the 23mm tires, may have to move heavy 28s on the roadie.
