decided imma get back into intervals etc on flats (which around here pretty much means track. Wellsley park 10x400m (80s) then 2k at 'tempo' 170bpm.
Very happy to get through the full 10 reps, and not too unhappy with speed there. HR higher for these than it would have been pre-op. ~180bpm.
Speed at tempo was very interesting, almost felt like i had to jog to keep the HR at 170. pace 4:08... its either the fatigue, or a sign that LTHR is what i need to focus on.
Super satisfying to have a nice clean HR/pace chart for a session
