Back on the board! Went well--but was at 170 FTP and didn't stand. I was surprised that my foot was actually less swollen after this. I went home (I usually go straight to work) so I could ice it before work. I'm stylin with hot pink Hokas and lime green compression socks at work.

Note

Cast is off!

Doc took it off this morning. I thought my leg and foot looked quite awful. He said in comparison to others, it looked great. He said pain and swelling will be my guide. I am to move my ankle and foot as much as possible not weight bearing, and to work up on distances walking. He said that there will be pain and swelling, but, if I seem to be swelling alot--then I need to back off and ice. Excessive swelling is the enemy. But he kept remarking how good everything looked, which is awesome. I'm going to go to spin tomorrow, not stand, and not put too much into the left foot.
