I've been in a bit of a training funk lately, without any particular direction or motivation. I think it's time that I quite screwing around and get serious about this orienteering thing. To that end, a revamped training plan is being formulated.

Zbrint zbrint zbrint.

World Cup thought of the day: The Western Hemisphere is dominating! So far, five from CONMEBOL (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay) and two from CONCACAF (Costa Rica, Mexico) are among the eleven teams who've qualified for the knockout rounds. With the USA likely to qualify and Ecuador having a decent shot, it's plausible that eight of the ten North/South American teams could move on, including ALL six CONMEBOL and three of four CONCACAF. Craziness!

This success comes somewhat at the expense of UEFA, who have already qualified four (Belgium, France, Greece, Netherlands) and are likely to add only two more (Germany, Russia/Switzerland), and at the great expense of the other three continents, whose nine teams are likely to fill a maximum of two (Algeria, Nigeria) of the 16 spots in the knockout round.

Cycling 18:49 [4] 4.6 mi (14.7 mph) +50m

Cycling over to Wilburton Hill Park to do some map updating. I'm tired of all our (SAMM's) maps being out of date, and I'm fixin' to do something about it.
