Up-tempo 10-miler on the Cross Kirkland Corridor. While running I used my new Galaxy S5 to listen to a combination of Let It Go, Disney, A Real Hero, and blink-182 radio on Pandora. Feel free to judge me!

Managed to pull out another win, by four seconds over Jourdan. Only one real error (<1:00) but many lesser inefficiencies, some due to mapping and course setting irregularities, some my own doing. Hopefully we can remap Shoreview before it is used again for the Winter Series.

I only need one more win or two more seconds to win the Series for the first time!

Happy new year! I feel I should write up a 2014 retrospective, but I'm not quite ready yet.

Note

Yesterday, the Sammamish Orienteering & Rogaining Club voted to cease operations and shut down after putting on events big and small in the Puget Sound area since 1983. SAMM is where I was first introduced to orienteering and the club I grew up with, and I credit the club's members with teaching me pretty much all I know about the sport which has become quite an important - and great - part of my life.

For that I will always be thankful to the following people who made Sammamish go, through the highs and lows of 31 years (surely there are more names I'm unaware of that deserve inclusion, but excluding myself this constitutes the final active membership):

David Enger
Valerie Enger
Devon Grove
Jeff Grove
Bruce McAlister
Bob Reddick
Pat Reddick
John Sincock
Jim Siscel
Arne Skog
Fred Veler

All is change.
